Master mix recipe

Ingredients

20 | cups | All-Purpose flour |
2 | tablespoons | Cream of Tartar |
2½ | cup | Dry Milk |
½ | cup | Sugar |
¾ | cup | Baking Powder |
4 | cups | Shortening |
3 | tablespoons | Salt |
Directions
Measure all ingredients accurately. Stir the flour, dry milk, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar and sugar together until well blended in a large bowl. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender or your hands until evenly distributed and resembles coarse meal. Store this mix in an air-tight container such as a plastic ice cream container.
Keep at room temperature in a dark place. Keeps 4 weeks at cool temperature.
Use this mix in place of Bisquick in any recipe.
