Banana spice lemon drops

2 | cups | Flour; all-purpose |
1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
⅛ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
6 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine; divided |
1 | cup | Brown sugar; packed |
1 | Egg | |
1 | large | Banana; mashed (about 2/3c) |
Non-stick cooking spray | ||
2 | cups | Powdered sugar |
3 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
Directions
Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves in a small bowl; set aside.
Beat 4 tablespoons margarine. brown sugar and egg in large bowl until blended. Stir in banana. Add flour mixture; stir until well-blended.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray, 1 inch apart.
Bake at 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Remove to wire rack; let cool completely.
Beat remaining margarine, powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in small bowl until smooth. adding more lemon juice, if needed.
Spread frosting over cooled cookies.
