Berghoff's alpen ragout

Ingredients

2½ | pounds | Veal -- sliced in 2\" strips |
¼ | pounds | Butter |
¼ | pounds | Fresh Mushrooms -- thinly sliced |
½ | pounds | Onions -- thinly sliced |
1½ | cup | Brown Gravy |
3 | ounces | White Wine |
Salt And Pepper -- to taste | ||
3 | dashes | Tabasco Sauce |
4 | ounces | Sour Cream |
Directions
Brown veal in butter. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter and add to meat. Add the gravy and wine and cook for 20 mins. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Add sour cream just before serving. Makes 5 generous servings.
