Berghoff's alpen ragout

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Veal -- sliced in 2\" strips
¼ pounds Butter
¼ pounds Fresh Mushrooms -- thinly sliced
½ pounds Onions -- thinly sliced
cup Brown Gravy
3 ounces White Wine
Salt And Pepper -- to taste
3 dashes Tabasco Sauce
4 ounces Sour Cream

Directions

Brown veal in butter. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter and add to meat. Add the gravy and wine and cook for 20 mins. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Add sour cream just before serving. Makes 5 generous servings.
