Chinese-style stir-fried vegetables

1 | Clove garlic; finely chopped | |

½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
3 | cups | Vegetables* |
½ | cup | Bamboo shoots** |
2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
Directions
*Sliced summer squash or zucchini, sliced mushrooms, sliced celery, small cauliflower florets, sliced green beans, green or red pepper strips, sliced cabbage, sliced radishes, or sliced scallions. Should be 3 cups TOTAL of any mixture of the above. **I will substitute water chestnuts.
Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add the vegetables and the garlic, and quickly stir-fry them until just barely tender. Stir in the soy sauce and serve.
