Christmas fruit squares

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Chopped pecans
½ cup Butter or margarine
cup Brown sugar
2 Unbeaten eggs
1 cup Flour
1 cup Chopped candied cherries; 1/2 red; 1/2 green
1 cup Chopped candied pineapple; 1 slice red; 1 slice green, 1 slice white

Directions

Spread nuts on greased cookie sheet. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs & flour. Spread batter over nuts. (You will have to use a knife to spread batter.) Sprinkle candied fruits over batter. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.

Cut into squares while warm.
