2 | cups | Flour |
3 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | tablespoons | Diet margarine |
¾ | cup | Skim milk |
Directions
Sift the flour and remeasure to 2 cups. Sift again with the baking powder and salt. Cut in the margarine with a pastry blender. Add the milk. Stir the mixture quickly and lightly with a fork just until the dough clings together in a ball. Then turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead it gently. Roll the dough or pat it out to ½" thickness. Cut the dough with a 2" biscuit cutter and place the dough circles on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes in a preheated 450 oven.
