Courtesy of Barbara Benton from the Sonoran Desert Area of Tucson,Arizona Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well; form into small egg size. Press down on ungreased cookie sheet. With oven heated to 425 degrees, bake 5 to 7 minutes. 5 minutes will usually result in lightly brown color and a bit soft. Allow to sit for a short time and they will harden somewhat.
I have made these for special friends and gatherings and they have always been a BIG hit! Everyone asks for the recipe. I got it from a friend of my daughter's in 1984 and I am not sure where it came from. Be forewarned: THESE PUPPIES ARE ADDICTIVE !!
