---|---|---|
¼ | cup | Baking soda |
2 | tablespoons | Citric acid or ascorbic acid; (powdered vitamin C) |
1 | tablespoon | Borax powder; for softening |
2 | tablespoons | Powdered sugar; for binding |
2 | tablespoons | Sweet Almond oil |
1 | teaspoon | Vitamin E |
¼ | teaspoon | Fragrance oil or essential oil |
Directions
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and stir until well blended. Drizzle in almond oil and stir until mixture is moistened. Add vitamin E oil and fragrance and stir till well mixed. Take teaspoon size globs of mixture and form into ball shapes. (Mixture will be very crumbly, so do your best to form balls.) Place balls on a sheet of waxed paper and let sit for 2-3 hrs.
After this, gently reshape the balls and let air dry and harden for 10 days. Store in a closed container to protect from moisture. To use, just drop into the bath water.
