Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Cake flour, sifted
3 teaspoons Baking powder
cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1⅓ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
4 eaches Egg yolks

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients and put in mixing bowl. Add shortening and half the milk. Mix. Add remaining milk, vanilla, and egg yolks.

Blend well. Pour into 2 greased and floured round layer pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
