KISHKE
Try adding this kugel-like kishke, wrapped in aluminum foil or cheesecloth and placed on top of cholent. All the flavors seep in and it's delicious.
Pour water over challah and squeeze out. Combine with remaining ingredients and form into a ball or loaf. Wrap in aluminum foil or cheesecloth. Place on top of cholent ingredients. Unwrap when ready to serve.
VARIATION: Use 1 cup of oatmeal instead of potato and challah.
