Fulkerson tomato pudding

2 | cups | Canned tomatoes, drained and slightly broken up |
1¼ | cup | Well crumbled toasted bread |
¾ | cup | Brown sugar |
⅓ | cup | Melted butter |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
Directions
Peheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a small baking dish. Mix the tomatoes, bread crumbs, brown sugar, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl. Transfer to the baking dish and bake until the pudding bubbles and browns, about 50 minutes. Let cool a little before serving.
