G'ma hanawalt's fruit cake (g'ma's mother)

½ | cup | Butter |
2 | cups | Sugar |
4 | cups | Sifted flour |
1 | tablespoon | Soda |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | teaspoon | Cloves |
½ | Tsp; nutmeg | |
1 | cup | Water |
Directions
Combine raisins and 2 cups water and cook 15 min. Mix dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to raisin mixture and water batter. Bake 350 until done.
