German chocolate cake frosting

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Evaporated milk
1 cup Sugar
3 Egg yolks
½ cup Butter
1 cup Pecan pieces
1⅓ cup Coconut
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

Cook milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla over medium heat. Stir constantly until thick. Add 1-⅓ cup coconut and 1 cup chopped pecans. Beat until thick to put on cake.
