Ginger pot roast

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Boneless beef pot roast (up to 2)
2 tablespoons Oil
4 Cloves garlic; pressed
2 teaspoons Grated fresh ginger root
Salt; to taste
1 cup Water (up to 1-1/2)
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
¾ cup Raw rice
¼ teaspoon Salt

Directions

Brown beef in oil then rub with mixture of garlic and ginger. Salt lightly.

Transfer to crock pot. Pour in water and soy sauce. Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or on High for 2-3 hours and then on Low for 2 hours more.

Remove 1½ cups broth from pot. Place in saucepan with rice and salt.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook until rice isil done, 18-20 minutes. MC formatting by bobbi744@...
