Ginny's cheese sausage casserole

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
10 slices Day old bread
½ pounds Cheddar cheese; grated
pounds Sausage; (hot or mild) link
4 Eggs
cup Milk
½ teaspoon Prepared mustard
1 tablespoon Grated onion
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 dash Pepper

Directions

Remove crusts of bread and spread ½ of bread on bottom of greased casserole, 12x8". Cover with cheese and browned sausage which has been well cooked and cut into slices. Cube remaining bread slices and spread on top.

Beat eggs and remaining ingredients together and pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, uncovered. 6 servings. jmerrill@...
