Grandmother's coffee cake

Ingredients

½ | cup | Soft butter |
1 | cup | Sugar |
2 | Eggs; beaten | |
2 | cups | Flour |
2 | teaspoons | Baking powder |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | cup | Milk |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
¼ | cup | Melted butter |
1 | cup | Brown sugar; packed |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | cup | Chopped pecans |
Directions
Beat ½ cup butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Combine milk and vanilla. Add milk alternately with flour mixture to butter and sugar, mixing on low. Pour into greased 7x11 pan. Spread melted butter over batter. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter. Top with pecans. Bake at 300 for 40-45 minutes.
