Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
6 Eggs -- beaten
cup Flour
1 pinch Salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 cup Whiskey
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 pounds Chopped pecans

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Slowly add whiskey and vanilla. Fold in nuts. Line two loaf pans with foil and fill ⅔ full. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
