Hot brown sandwich

8 | ounces | Mushrooms, sliced |
3 | tablespoons | Margarine |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Milk |
⅓ | cup | Shredded Cheddar Cheese |
4 | slices | Bread |
Sliced Turkey | ||
Fried Bacon Slices |
Directions
Saute mushrooms in margarine until tender. Drain, set aside. Melt two tablespoons of the Margarine, stir in the flour and salt. Cook until smooth and well blended. Add the Milk slowly, cook until thickened and then add Cheese until all melted and combined with the sauce. Place the bread slices on a broiler pan, arrange the Bacon and Turkey and mushrooms on the bread. Top with the cheese sauce and broil until the sauce is golden brown.
