Jamaican pumpkin soup

¼ pounds Salt pork, minced
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 pounds Pumpkin (peeled, seeds
4 cups Water
1 each Bay leaf removed) 1 tsp salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Grated nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

Cook the pork in the water with thyme and bay leaf for 30 min. Add the pumpkin, salt and pepper. Cook for 15020 minutes. Sieve. Add nutmeg. Reheat and serve.
