Jan's garlic chicken

Whole roasting chicken, | ||
.split and back removed | ||
Large jar of minced garlic | ||
Paprika | ||
1 | Stick of butter | |
Crab seasoning or your | ||
.favorite crab boil | ||
Red pepper |
Directions
In a sauce pan, melt the butter and all seasonings together. Place the chicken flat, skin side down. Pour some over melted butter mixture, and turn. Turn and pour over remaining sauce and grab as much of the minced garlic from the bottom as you can and place it on the chicken.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Now, ifyou want, clean and half potatoes and place them in the pan along with the bird. Baste on occasion and enjoy.
