Koosa (stuffed squash)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Dz green squash
1 can Tomato puree
2 cups Water
1 Clove garlic chopped
Dried mint
1 cup Rice
pounds Ground lean lamb
¼ Stick melted butter
½ cup Chopped canned tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

STUFFING

cut off tops and bottoms of squash (very thin) core squash after cutting each in half sprinkle inside of each squash with a little lemon juice and touch of garlic salt stuff squash with filling....leaving a little space for rice to expand place in pan,add tomato puree and water. add garlic and dried mint leaves on top of sauce cover and cook on low heat for about 35 mins....or till tender

stuffing....

combine ingredients and mix well then stuff squash with filling serves 6 (or in my family 3) yummmm
