Lamb and macadamia burgers

750 grams Lean lamb mince
1 teaspoon Chilli sauce; (1 to 2)
cup Finely chopped macadamias
1 Clove garlic; crushed
1 Onion; finely chopped
3 tablespoons Finely chopped mint
1 cup Fresh breadcrumbs
1 Egg
Salt and pepper

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Divide mixture into 6-8 patties, depending on size of bread rolls. Wet hands with water and shape the mixture into patties. Place on a tray, cover, and rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Note: These patties can also be shaped like a thin sausage and when cooked, rolled in pita bread.
