Lime-ginger crab

3 tablespoons Butter or margarine
3 teaspoons Fresh ginger -- finely
Grated
3 teaspoons Garlic -- minced
¼ pounds Carrots -- pared; cut into
3 ounces Snow peas, strings removed
Cut diagonally
3 Green onions -- 2-inch-long
Pieces
¾ pounds Fresh crabmeat or frozen
Crabmeat -- thawed
2 tablespoons Lime juice
Salt and freshly ground
Pepper -- to taste

1. In a microwave-proof serving dish, microwave butter on 100% power to melt, about 30 seconds. Add ginger and garlic; microwave on 100% power 20 seconds.

2. Add carrots and microwave about 30 seconds. Stir in snow peas and microwave 30 seconds. Add onion and crabmeat; microwave to heat through, 30 to 60 seconds.

3. Season to taste with lime juice, salt (if necessary), and pepper. Serve immediately.
