Linsensuppe (lentil soup)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Lentils; (washed)
6 cups Water; (approximately)
3 Beef bouillon cubes
1 Clove garlic; (chopped fine)
1 Carrot; (diced)
1 Celery stalk; (diced)
1 tablespoon Parsley; (chopped)
3 larges Potatoes
2 tablespoons Vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Add the water to the washed lentils and bring to a boil. Add boullion cubes, garlic, celery, carrot, parsley and simmer for about 1½ hours.

Add potatoes and boil for addional 30 minutes. Add vinegar; salt and pepper to taste.
