Molly's brisket of beef

Ingredients

1 8-10 lb. brisket of beef
1 pack Lipton Onion Soup mix
Season-All
Kitchen Bouquet
Teryaki sauce
Salt; pepper
Garlic powder

Directions

Flour a brown in bag. Sprinkle one side of the brisket with seasoned salt, garlic powder and half of soup mix. I like to add some black pepper, also.

Place brisket seasoned side down in bag and sprinkle other side with the rest of soup mix, seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper.

In a one cup measure, pour 1 inch of Teryaki sauce and ¼ inch of Kitchen Bouquet. Fill cup with water and pour around brisket in bag. Add 3 more cups of water and tie bag. Bake at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours or until tender.

NOTES : I use a 3-4 lb. first cut brisket with same sauce proportions. A brown-in-bag is not imperative, but helps clean up.
