1 each Chicken, about 2 1/2 pounds, cut into 8 pieces
¾ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Coarse ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Butter
½ cup Chicken broth
2 tablespoons Dry white wine or apple juice

Directions
