No-bake oatmeal gelatin cookies

3 | ounces | Jello Strawberry Gelatin |
¾ | cup | Sugar |
½ | cup | Milk |
1 | tablespoon | Karo Light Corn Syrup |
1 | tablespoon | Butter or margarine |
¾ | cup | Quaker Oats quick-cooking oatmeal; uncooked |
¾ | cup | Bakers' flake coconut |
¼ | cup | Chopped nutmeats; (walnuts, pecans, almonds) |
Directions
Combine gelatin, sugar, milk, salt and syrup in medium size saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage, 236 degrees.
Remove from heat, stir in butter or margarine, oatmeal coconut and nuts.
Drop immediately by tablespoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Store in airtight container.
