Noodle and beef skillet

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Ground beef
2 Onion; minced
½ cup Finely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons Butter
½ pounds Mushrooms; sliced
3 cups Beef bouillon
3 tablespoons Flour
¼ cup Water
1 dash Tobasco sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
Pepper
½ teaspoon Thyme or basil
½ pounds Flat noodles; cooked

Directions

Cook the beef in a heavy skillet, adding a small amount of butter if necessary, until slightly browned, breaking it up with a fork as it cooks; set aside. Cook the onions and green pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter until soft. Add the mushrooms and saute' for 5 minutes, covered. Add the meat and cook for 5 minutes more. Add the bouillon and heat to boiling.

Meanwhile mix the flour with the water into a smooth paste and add this to skillet when the contents are boiling. Stir in the seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the noodles and heat. Makes 6 servings.
