Pasta cannelini

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Uncooked pasta nuggets (radiatore)
2 teaspoons Olive oil or oil
1 cup Thinly sliced onions
1 clove Garlic, minced
28 ounces Can whole tomatoes, cut up undrained
15 ounces Can chick peas, rinsed
1 teaspoon Dried oregano leaves

Directions

Cook pasta to desired doneness; drain and keep warm. heat oil in large nonstick skillet until hot. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir about 6 minutes or until onion is tender. Add tomatoes, beans and oregano; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5-10 minutes to blend flavors. Serve over pasta. If desired, sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
