1 | tablespoon | Vegetable oil |
1 | can | Sliced peaches in heavy syrup; (15 1/4 ounces) |
2 | tablespoons | Light brown sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
Directions
Season both sides of the pork chops with the salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Serve immediately.
Note: Serve over hot rice or noodles, along with some rolls to dunk in that rich sauce.
