Pennsylvania-dutch scrapple

Ingredients

2 | cups | Ground pork |
2 | cups | Ground beef |
3 | cups | Meat broth |
2 | teaspoons | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1½ | teaspoon | Sage |
1 | Single cayenne pepper to taste | |
1 | cup | Cornmeal |
Directions
Combine pork, beef, and broth in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add seasonings.
Stir cornmeal into meat mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for 30 minutes.
Pour into loaf pan, chill until firm. Cut into thin slices and fry in lightly-greased skillet until browned.
