Pork apple steaks

2 | pounds | Pork steak-all visible fat removed |
1 | can | (14 oz) applesauce |
¼ | teaspoon | EACH cinnamon;nutmeg, salt, and pepper |
¼ | cup | Sherry; (or non-alcohol sherry) |
Directions
Brown steak on both sides in frying pan sprayed with cooking spray or under a broiler. Arrange in baking pan large enough to hold in single layer.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Stir. Spoon about ½ mixture over the steaks. Cook, uncovered, in 350 oven for about 20 minutes. Turn steaks over. Spoon second ½ of sauce over. Return to oven and cool for about 30 more minutes or until tender.
