Pork steak with apple dressing

Ingredients

5 | Pork steaks | |
1 | tablespoon | Lard (yes Lard!) |
½ | cup | Chopped celery |
¼ | cup | Chopped onion |
5 | cups | Dry bread |
2 | cups | Chopped apples |
¼ | cup | Raisins |
2 | tablespoons | Apple jelly |
2 | tablespoons | Water |
Directions
Brown steaks in lard. Remove meat and add celery and onions. Brown a little; remove from heat and add bread, apples, raisins, apple jelly and water. Stir in mix. Place dressing in roasting pan or baking dish. Place meat on top, cover lightly with aluminum foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking for 5 minutes.
