Raspberry krispie dessert

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Margarine; melted
1 cup Sugar, brown; packed
1 cup Coconut
½ cup Nuts; chopped (optional)
3 cups Cereal, Rice Krispies
½ gallon Ice cream, vanilla; softened
10 ounces Raspberries, frozen; thawed and drained (reserve juice)
1 pack Danish Dessert, raspberry- currant; prepared using reserved juice as part of liquid

Directions

Mix margarine, brown sugar, coconut, nuts and Rice Krispies well.

Press into 9x13-inch pan. Slice ice cream (about 1 to 1½ inches thick) over Krispie mixture. Freeze. Mix drained raspberries with prepared Danish Dessert. Store in covered bowl in refrigerator. To serve cut frozen Krispie mixture into squares and pour raspberry/pudding mixture over each square.
