4 | slices | Fried bread |
1 | ounce | Butter |
4 | Eggs | |
2 | tablespoons | Milk |
pinch | Salt | |
Pepper to taste | ||
Anchovy fillets |
Directions
Make the toast and butter it or fry the bread. Keep warm. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the eggs and milk, season and cook over a gentle heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens. Spoon the eggs on to the toast and top with anchovy fillets. Delicious as a light supper.
