Sesame shrimp and asparagus

2 | Cloves garlic, chopped | |
1 | tablespoon | Fresh ginger root, chopped |
¾ | pounds | Medium shrimp |
2 | teaspoons | Vegetable oil |
2 | tablespoons | Dry sherry |
½ | pounds | Asparagus, blanched, cut diagonally in 1 inch pieces |
12 | ounces | Cooked spaghettini |
2 | tablespoons | Sesame seeds, toasted |
2 | Scallions, chopped | |
1 | teaspoon | Sesame oil |
Directions
Stir fry garlic, ginger root and shrimp in vegetable oil over high heat until shrimp begins to turn pink (about 2 minutes). Add sherry and asparagus. Cook, stirring, 2 minutes. Toss with remaining ingredients.
