Soy sauce chicken (lu gee)

10 | Chicken drumsticks; (up to 12) | |
1 | cup | Soy sauce |
4 | cups | Water |
6 | slices | Ginger root; peeled |
3 | Stalks green onions; cut into 2 inch slices |
Directions
Bring water and soy sauce to a boil, add ginger root and onions. Place chicken in pot and make sure they are all well covered with liquid (add more water if necessary). Cover and let boil/simmer for 15 minutes. Turn chicken and boil for another 15 minutes. Serve. Save broth for noodles.
Notes To make Soy Sauce Eggs, hard boil a bunch of eggs in regular water.
When they are done, peel the shells off and prick the eggs all around with a fork. Set the eggs in the soy sauce broth and simmer for about 20 minutes.
