Spicy beef brisket

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 pounds Beef brisket, flat half
24 ounces Salsa sauce
12 ounces Beer
6 eaches Pita breads, cut in half
1 each Lettuce head - shredded
3 eaches Tomatoes - chopped

Directions

Trim fat from brisket. Place in ungreased baking dish, 13½ by 9 by 2 inches. Mix salsa sauce and beer; pour over meat. Cover tightly. Bake in 325 degree oven 3 ½ hours or until tender. Remove beef; slice across the grain. Stuff pita bread with lettuce and beef slices; top with tomatoes. Serve with additional salsa sauce if desired.
