Spicy poori

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Whole wheat flour
½ cup All-purpose white flour
¼ cup Chickpea flour; (gram flour optional)
2 teaspoons Vegetable oil; heated
2 teaspoons Cumin seeds
2 tablespoons Red chili powder; (to taste)
2 tablespoons Salt
4 tablespoons Sesame seeds
1 pinch Sugar
1 teaspoon Tumeric
cup Water
Vegetable oil for deep-fat frying

Directions

Spicy poories are a delicious addition to a picnic and are good to have on hand for snacks.

Mix all the ingredients and form them into a dough. Roll and cook as for plain poories.
