Pillsbury Hot Roll mix or your favorite bread dough (small recipe)
1 | cup | Fresh spinach; about |
1 | Or more cloves of garlic; sliced thin
1 | teaspoon | Olive oil or olive oil spray (up to 2) |
1 | tablespoon | Shredded parmesan |
Directions
Prepare hot roll mix as directed, and cut the ball in half. (To save half for later, spray the inside of a ziploc bag with Pam and insert the dough, and pop in the freezer-to use later, simply thaw and bake). Spread dough on a sprayed cookie sheet in a circle or square, stretching it lightly so it is about a foot long, and 8 inches or so wide. Brush with olive oil or spray, lay clean, dry fresh spinach all over it, and lay the sliced garlic on top of that (this does not have to be flattened down, as it will condense during baking). Sprinkle parmesan over all, and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes, or until exposed dough is lightly brown and puffed a little bit. Serve warm.
