Stewed oxtail

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Oxtail
2 Clove nails
6 Peppercorns
1 teaspoon Celery salt
Salt to taste
1 Juice of lemon
1 large Onion, sliced
1 tablespoon Flour

Directions

Put separate pieces of oxtail into a stew pan with sufficient cold water to cover. Bring to the boil, then add the clove nails, peppercorns, celery salt, salt and onions. Simmer for 4 hours. Thicken the liquid with the flour that is first mixed with a little cold water. Add the lemon juice.

Serve with rice or potatoes.
