Ingredients

¾ | cup | Celery -- sliced |
¼ | cup | Green pepper -- diced |
¼ | cup | Butter or margarine |
¼ | cup | All-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
1½ | cup | Chicken broth |
¼ | cup | Milk |
3 | cups | Chicken -- or turkey cooked |
1 | can | Mushroom stems and pieces -- |
Drained | ||
8 | eaches | Toast slices -- or pastry |

Directions
In a skillet, saute the onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in flour and sugar until a paste forms. Gradually stir in broth. Bring to a boil; boil 1 min. Reduce heat. Add milk, turkey and mushrooms; heat through. Serve either in pastry shells or over toast.
Yield: 8 servings.
