Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 medium Onion -- chopped
¾ cup Celery -- sliced
¼ cup Green pepper -- diced
¼ cup Butter or margarine
¼ cup All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Sugar
cup Chicken broth
¼ cup Milk
3 cups Chicken -- or turkey cooked
1 can Mushroom stems and pieces --
Drained
8 eaches Toast slices -- or pastry
Shells

Directions

In a skillet, saute the onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in flour and sugar until a paste forms. Gradually stir in broth. Bring to a boil; boil 1 min. Reduce heat. Add milk, turkey and mushrooms; heat through. Serve either in pastry shells or over toast.

Yield: 8 servings.
