1 | pack | White or yellow cake mix |
Margarine | ||
2 | cans | Pineapple slices |
1 | Jar cherries | |
Brown sugar | ||
12 | (6 oz.) tuna cans |
Directions
1. Follow directions on cake mix box. 2. Grease small tuna cans. 3. Place 1 pineapple slice with cherry in center in each can 4. Sprinkle with brown sugar & dot with 1 tsp. margarine. 5. Put a few spoonfuls of cake batter in each can (½ to ¾ full) & cover with heavy-duty foil. 6. Place on coals until cake is done. (We placed on grate.) 7. Invert on serving plate & wait for 5 minutes before removing tuna can. From: "Buckeyes and More" a recipe book from the Buckeye Trails Girl Scout Council.
