Ingredients

1½ | cup | All-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon | Soda |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Margarine or butter |
¾ | cup | Brown sugar |
¾ | cup | Granulated sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
1 | 12 Ounce Pac chocolate bits | |
1 | cup | Chopped black walnuts |
2 | cups | Rolled oats; not instant |
Directions
Sift flour. Measure and sift again with soda and salt. In separate bowl, cream margarine with both sugars. Beat eggs into margarine and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Stir in dry ingredients. Add nuts, oats and chocolate bits. Stir well. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees until cookies are light brown. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
