White chocolate cranberry bark
1 servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
12 | ounces | Good white chocolate |
1 | cup | Dried cranberries; (or blueberries) |
Directions
Melt white chocolate on top of a double boiler. Stir occasionally to aid the melting. When melted, stir in cranberries until well-coated. Pour onto wax-paper lined baking sheet. Spread evenly. Let cool. When cool, break into pieces. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
Variation: For Christmas gifts, I crush about 10 or 20 mini candy canes or peppermint sticks, using a food processor. Process until powdery, but with some chunks still in it. Stir candy into melted white chocolate. You can also add pistachio nuts (no shells, obviously) to the cranberry version.
It's always a lovely gift.
