Ingredients

¼ cup Beer
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
cup Bottled hickory smoke- flavored barbecue sauce
10 ounces Jar apple jelly
Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
16 ounces Package frankfurters OR
1 pounds Cocktail weiners
cup Frozen small whole onions

Directions

For sauce, in a small saucepan combine beer and cornstarch, then stir in barbecue sauce, apple jelly, and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir for 2 minutes more.

Bias-slice franks into bite-size pieces. Stir franks or cocktail weiners and frozen onions into sauce. Cook till heated through.

Serve warm.
