3 | cups | Ziti pasta; cooked |
6 | ounces | Turkey sausage; cooked, crumbled |
½ | cup | Ricotta cheese; part skim milk |
2 | tablespoons | Grated Parmesan cheese |
2 | ounces | Mozzarella cheese; shredded |

Date: Fri, 15 Mar 1996 00:29:31 EST From: MarySpero@... (MS MARY E SPERO) In a microwave safe casserole (1½ quarts) combine oil, onion and garlic; stir thoroughly to coat. Microwave on high for 1 minute, until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes and basil; cover and microwave on high for 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Transfer 1 ½ cup of the tomato mixture to medium mixing bowl, and add ziti, sausage, ricotta and parmesan. Mix well. Spray casserole w/Pam. Spread ziti mixture evenly in casserole.
Spread remaining tomato mixture evenly over ziti. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
Microwave on high for 8 minutes till heated through and cheese is melted.
