(homemade fresh) chorizo soft tacos

1 | teaspoon | Cayenne; (or substitute paprika for less hot) |

1 | tablespoon | Sweet paprika |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cumin |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Cracked black pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Greek oregano |
3 | tablespoons | Olive oil; (up to 4) |
1 | tablespoon | Water |
1½ | tablespoon | Cider vinegar |
2 | tablespoons | Olive oil; (for pan-frying) |
Soft flour tortillas; (can heat in microwave) | ||
Chopped lettuce | ||
Chopped tomato | ||
Shredded cheddar cheese | ||
Sliced black olives | ||
Chopped scallions | ||
Sour cream | ||
Salsa or taco sauce |
Directions
CHORIZO
ACCOMPANIMENTS
Mix together all ingredients for chorizo. Then pan-fry in the 2 T olive oil.
Put on the table with accompaniments and warmed flour tortillas and let everyone assemble their own.
