Asparagus salad mold

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Vinegar
1 cup Water
½ cup Cold water
2 Envelopes of plain gelatin
1 cup Chopped celery
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 tablespoon Minced onion
4 ounces Jar of pimentos, chopped
1 can Whole green asparagus
1 teaspoon Salt
5 ounces Can of water chestnuts

Directions

Combine sugar, vinegar, 1 cup of water and salt. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Dissolve gelatin in ½ cup of cold water. Remove boiling mixture; add gelatin, onion and cool. Drain asparagus and cut into bite size pieces. Drain water chestnuts and slice thin.
