Basil tomato sauce

16 ounces Tomatoes
¾ cup Onion -- chopped
2 Garlic cloves -- minced
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 Bay leaves
½ teaspoon Basil
¾ cup Sun dried tomatoes --
Chopped

Directions

Cook onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender. Stir in tomato, bay leaves, wine and basil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring often, 3-5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat. Remove and discard bay leaves and stir in sun dried tomatoes. Cover and chill at least 2 hours to use in Italian Cheese Terrine recipe.
